Medication refill requests

A few simple guidelines help us refill your medications safely and on time.

Important reminders

Before you request a refill

Call Monday–Thursday

All medication requests must be called in Monday through Thursday. Requests after hours Thursday or anytime Friday are handled the next business day.

Give 3–4 business days

Providers don't work every day. Please allow at least 3–4 business days so they have time to review your request.

Thursday noon cutoff

Requests needed before the weekend must be called in by Thursday at noon at the latest.

Holidays don't count

Holidays are not business days. Be proactive around holidays that fall on a Friday or Monday.

Greatland Clinical's medication policy

We ask for your cooperation in following our medication refill policy. We remain committed to providing the highest level of care, including helping to ensure medications are refilled in a timely manner.

As stated in our "Commitments and Expectations," we need 3–4 business days' notice when requesting medication refills. Due to limited medical staffing on Fridays, we cannot refill same-day requests on that day. Requests received after hours on Thursday or anytime Friday will be tended to the next business day.

Requests needed before the weekend will need to be called in, at the latest, Thursday by noon. Please be proactive on holidays that fall on a Friday or Monday — holidays do not count as a business day.

We do ask that you continue to leave your requests on Fridays, with the understanding that they'll be responded to the next business day. We understand emergencies arise; if there is a medication emergency, please leave your message and our staff will call you back to help or direct you.

This pager is not for emergencies. If life is in danger or there's a threat of harm, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
